Gong Xi Fatt Chai Everybody

Ok.. Been off for a few days due to very hectic and busy schedule. Unlike previous years.. This year, my engine getting old and very fast need to refill petrol.. Ok.. Will elaborate on that later.. First thing first.. Update during CNY eve where all of us had our makans...

Woot, this year got something extra.. More meat.. Bwahahhaa.. So this year was better.. But not only that.. Grandma was able to get out from bed and join us.. She only drink soup and that's about it.. but it's all good... :) Better than nothing..

There's dad.. Waiting patiently and deciding on what to eat.. And as custom he would give a thanksgiving blessing over the food :) Then after that we makan.. Then, came the hour of preparation of fireworks.. This year,didn't really take much pictures.. But spent more times taking videos.. Which is better I suppose :)

Ok.. that pretty goes for Chinese New Year Eve.. Ok.. Back to the story.. Day 1 of Chinese new year.. Went to church, and came back after that. Didn't want to go visiting because felt very tired.. Maybe engine old that's why, so by the time i reached home. Anyway, to my surprise all my brothers also felt the same way.. Hahaha.Think all of them prefer to be at home rather than go out on the first day.. Towards the evening, Alban, Vic, Mars & Lynne came by and visited me.. Then at nite went off to Alban's place.. Along with my best bud Bong.. Hahaha.. Haven't seen him for like ages... Think the last time I saw him was last year as well during Chinese New year.. Hahaaha.. After that never saw him again.. But it was good.. Day 2 went to visit Vic's place, then Lynne followed by Jessie and last Cyril's place... Went out about 10am like that, and got home about 2pm.. That time already flat.. Can't move already.. So ended up sleeping.. HAhahaa..
Another thing about this year chinese new year, and the previous years that had never change is that.. I just couldn't stop eatings those cakes and especially those keropok.. Woo hoo.. Hahahaha.. SO when I'm infront of the tv and those cakes and kuih and keropok infront of me.. WIll be gone.. Hahaha.. But really need to drink a lot of water as well.. If not my engine will rosak.. ANyway. GOing to hit the bed soon.. Pretty much tired from today as well.. Didn't go visitation.. Most of the time stay home and rest.. Think need to repay all the sleep that I owe for the past few days.. Anyway.. Gong Xi Fatt Chai to all again. Have a nice day :)

Upgrade Laptop....

Been busy lately and didn't really hv much time to update in here.. But just to keep things short will try to summarized what i've been up to lately.. Been pretty much running around doing errands, as well as helpin out with the family business.. Deluxe came and visited me last Saturday, and on Sunday right after Church we headed up to Brunei to get her passport chopped. After that, we went right up to Bandar for a look and see, while my sister became the tour guide.. And we came back to miri about 8.30pm, which was pretty hectic but it was all good.. Then she went off again on Monday.. Then for the past few days been trying to decorate the house since Chinese New Year around the corner.. Having lots to do yet so little time agian.. What is missing now are the red angpaos we used to hang on the ceiling, can't seem to find it.. Anyway, I bought a Ram for my brother's laptop.. And I've already patch it up for him.. He would be in for a big surprise if he sees it :P Guess that's what brothers are for.. Anyway, at least upgrading the ram wasn't as hard compared to replace the PDA Battery.. I think my next project would be changing my sister camera phone. Hehehe, her phone camera got problem with it.. Calculated the cost needed to repair for the camera i think would be less than RM70.. Unlinke outside would charge 200-300.. Oh well.. Shall wait and see. But for now, will show you guys what I did with the laptop.. Very easy to install and you'll save yourself RM50 for service charge :D

Open up the laptop at the back, normally you'll find a small panel where you can unscrew the lid to open and see this.

Ram that is needed to be placed inside the thing you just saw up there.. Make sure it's at the proper end...

Once it's in. Turn on the laptop, checked to see if it's upgraded then it's all set to go.. :) Lock it, and there you have it.. One upgraded laptop :) God Bless..

Very Useful information With Mobile Phones

Check this out. It is very interesting!

1. Emergency Number : The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112.

If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even
while the keypad is locked. Try it out.

2. Keys Locked in the Car? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a Mobile Phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone on your mobile phone. Hold your mobile phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person at your home press the Unlock button, holding it near the phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves time for someone to drive your keys to you. Distance is not a problem. You could be hundreds of miles away and if you can reach someone who has the other remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors(or the boot).
Editor's Note: *It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a mobile phone!"

Prismwater's Note : I don't know how true is this.. But I did try this out and it never really worked.. So if those who really tried this and work, do let me know. :P

3. Your Mobile Battery is Very Low , you are expecting an important call and you don't have a charger". Nokia instrument comes with a reserve battery. To activate the battery, the key-in *3370# your cell will restart with this reserve and your instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time.

Mornin call at 2.30

Before I get on what has happened today.. Just a quick update regarding my grandmum.. She's currently stable at the moment.. Trying to eat using her mouth, but mostly it's liquid.. Her left side is still stiff and paralyze.. She's now spending most of the day outside the room, whereby we would carry her out so that she wouldn't keep on looking at the ceiling the whole day.. But what worries me now is that she's sometime very clear and knowing what's happening around her.. BUt there were time she's doesn't know who's around her. Hope that the blood clog has not effected the other side of the brain yet.. And she does complain having sore throat as well as sneezing.. Think it's due to the weather. Pray that she'll be well soon.. And once again, I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for praying for her... Thank you...

Got up about 2.30 this morning due to gastric. Man what a morning call that was.. Struggling with the pain, and not wanting others to worry too much since it was so early in the morning.. Instead of looking for medicine to ease the pain because I know medicine wouldn't help much.... I started praying... While I was praying the pain began worse, so end up praying even harder until I couldn't stand the pain anymore.. The next thing I knew was that, I was looking at my handphone check the time it was about 2.45.. And just fell asleep just like that.. When I got up this morning, I totally forgotten what has happened until my mum asked me how was I doing. Because yesterday I was having the pain the whole day, so I told her about this morning.. And I realised that it was only 15 mins I had to struggle with the pain.. Normally it would lasted 30-45 mins.. Thank God for his grace, and I was able to sleep soundly after that encounter... Indeed God has been merciful to me, and though there are a lot of things that I'm going through at the moment.. I know that God will never forsake me. If He was there watching me this morning at 2.30 am.. I know He's watching over me all the time to make sure I'll get through the day, and by then end of the day I would still praise and thank Him...

Today I went to the Post office.. Went and collect a book that I bought for my dad through Amazon.com. The title is "Intercessors & Pastors : The Emerging Partnership of Watchmen & Gatekeepers by Alice Smith, Eddie Smith".. Title seems interesting, but prolly would read it after my dad finish up with it.. And at the same time went to check if the PDA battery for my brother has arrived in Miri where I ordered from Hong Kong.. It's really amazing how cheap you can get stuff overseas compared you can get it here.. Anyway, was supposed to meet up with the custom for the batteries but they weren't around.. Fortunately for me, the fella was kind enough to release it because it wasn't taxable anyway.. So got back and gave the book to my dad which he was so happy to receive it because he wanted this book for a very long time already if I can recall.. But wasn't able to find it at the local christian bookstore here.. So it was all good ^_^

Once got home from the office, went and started to disect my brother's PDA.. There's one thing I like to do is open things up and trying to put it back together again.. Hahahaha, and I know someone who's reading this now would definetly agree with that... Hehehe.. :P Anyway, his PDA battery I think died and couldn't retain any power.. When I came back he told me it wasn't working, so since it was Christmas that time thought of getting it oversea. Here's how I disect the bugger and get it to move again.. I Would love to show you pics of it.. But only managed to take two pictures then my camera battery went flat.. -_-" Oh well..

Here's the fella before i opened it up...

And here he is right after I managed to crack it open :)

Was having problem with removing the battery as well as the cable that connected to the pda.. Once that was off, I've managed to put it all back together again. Tried turning the thing on, and you could hear it chime and voila.. It's alive. BWahahaha.. Anyway, it was indeed fun able to make broken things work again... I guess maybe that how we are.. Sometimes we might feel that we're broken and not able to be used, but in His hands He'll make you whole again.. :) Anyway, got to go now.. Starting to get hungry again.. Prolly get a cup of milo would do :) Until next time.. God Bless...

Thankful

For the past few days, I've noticed that God has been in control over everything. And at times these few days has passed, I nearly flipped out when something goes wrong and from then I never stopped praying about it.. But never the less, God once again came in and asking me to put my trust in Him... Well, I guess it's easy to say trust God but when situation arises, you tend to freak out and then go frenzy about it. Hahaha.. Anyway.. I took this reading from Freebibleemail.com.. I"ve been reading this for years, as they would send the word of God into your email.. It feels as if I'm receiving an Email from God.. And there were times when I read some of the passages that was written in there, it really speak to me if not to those who are in need :) That is for the devotional email, the other would be reading the bible through out the year. And if you read each and everyone of them everyday for the whole you, you would have completed the bible.. So a very highly recommended site.. :)

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Mark 4:40 New International Version (NIV)

40 He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"

You cannot be afraid and be in faith. Jesus was in the boat asleep. The waves and the wind raged against the ship to the point where Jesus' disciples (professional fisherman) were afraid that they were going to die. These men had spent their lives on the water. This storm was so bad they asked Jesus "Don't you care if we drown?" (vrs. 38)

Now notice that Jesus equated their fear to having no faith. Are you afraid? Every fear under the sun has corresponding promises in the Bible. Do you have any fear about your job?

Philippians 4:19 Amplified Bible (AMP)

19 And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Find a concordance or a good Bible computer program and search for your fears in the Bible. God has made you promises for every fear you can think of. Find out what the Bible says and eradicate fear from your life.

Speak the Word: Father, I stand in faith. I have nothing to be afraid of. You have given me many precious promises. I will search your word for those promises. I will believe your word. I will not fear.

Happy Birthday Burnett

Happy Birthday Burnett. Thank you for being a good friend to all of us. Really appreciate for all the times that you gave each and everyone of us. Though you're not here with us, but we will always remember you in our hearts. May God Bless your loved ones here back home.

Today was Burnett's birthday. Mars and I decided to go pay him a visit. It has been a year plus when Burnett left us. So much memories and so much joy that he gave to us. But we know that he's with the Lord, and all of us here do miss him very much. But I know one day we'll meet again. Anwyay, those pics up there taken from his resting place. Mars and I tried to light some candles for him there, even took the liberty of using birthday candles :P It's all good..

Been days since I last blog due to not feeling very well. Think it's due to the weather here in Miri.. Heavy rain then shine, not feeling too good.. First my elder brother got it, then followed by my younger brother and Ah Huat got it.. Then it's my dad and me.. Dad still a bit sick though, at least I got out of it quick.. -_-" Was having fever, headache, & stomachache all one go.. Not a pretty good sight to see. :P But all is good..

Pictures up there was taken yesterday when we sent Ah Huat back. He's is Singapore now back to his work.. He stayed a few days here for a visit. The food was taken in 2020, dim sum.. Think will sign out here for now.. Until the next time.

Photos

THese are a few phots I took when I just got back...

This is my cat that caused me to be an early bird. She would come into my room every 6.30am in the morning, and kicked me out of my bed and ended up sleeping there.. -_-" Anyway it's a good change :P Early to bed early to rise makes man healthy, wealthy and wise. But mom came up with the solution whereby closing the window to prevent her from climbing in.. Poor thing.. :P

Next up was a BBQ we had at Esplanade. Didn't really took much pictures cuz was busy trying to get the fire started and also cooking.. Last picture is Victor my partner in crime to ensure that the chicken comes out perfectly well without and burnt marks :)

These are taken outside my house.. Currently two dogs.. Blackie & Skippy I think that's their names.. :P Anyway, have been taking lots of pictures of my mom's flowers.. Just love to take them at a beautiful morning... Enjoy

This is where we brought Mars to makan at New Fun Lin branch in Tudan.. Was extremly far.. 4 of us, and here's the place. They close down the one in waterfront.. Aduh, that was a bummer.. We have more memories there.. But anyway, the crabs didn't taste as good as the old place.. Guess maybe they dropped their quality or something.. Anyway.. It's all good...

Day 8 of Granny's Condition

It has been 8 days after Granny's in the hospital. Firstly I would like to thank everyone who has been praying for her. The group back in Kuching, thank you very much for your prayer chain throughout the whole nite, as for day 5 right after your prayer chain the tube to support the oxygen as well as the water drip has been removed. Praise God for that. And also to the members of SIB who pray for her for the past few days as well, and for all the pastors, elders and family that came to the hospital to pray for her. I can't stop thanking all of you for what you have done.. She was discharged from the hospital yesterday, and now she;'s at home already. But do continue to pray for her as she still has the clog in the brain. Pray that her physio therapy will help heal her brain so that it would be activated again. Granny's condition now is stable as she is taking medication from the hospital, praise God for that.. Though it will be a long process before granny get's well, but with God's help she will be well in no time...

I would also like to wish my close friends Bong Chong Yu & Marcellino Happy Birthday.. May God continue to bless you guys in all that you do and that this year God will continue to pour His blessing among you.. :) Unfortunately wasn't able to celebrate with Bong as he is in Singapore. . So Jason, Gerald & I brought Mars to New Fun Lin in Tudan, where we had Ketam as well as Fried mee.. Will upload the pics tomorrow.. Latest price for 1KG of ketam is at RM13.. We had Black Pepper, Mongolian & Egg style Ketam. The best was still Black pepper, followed by Mongolian style.. Don't bother calling for egg, didn't really had much taste there.. After that we went to Taman Selera, and more less talk about life since Mars was the first to turn 25 this year.. Hahaha.. ANyway.. Will upload the pics tomorrow.. Going to zzzz now.. SEe ya all..

Day 4

Was stopped from entering the hospital due to the fact that visiting hours wasn't opened yet. Mom and aunty managed to get in.. There were 2 entrance leading upstairs... But both security guard were smart.. As I tried to fooled one that was guarding one side saying that I need to call my aunt and tell her I'm here so that can pick them up.. Then the guard asked me to use the public phone to call her at the other side.. Then I saw an opening that was for the cleaning people for them to use. As I tried to open once again got stopped by the security so I went off the other side.. I couldn't use the phone excuse cuz the phone was right infront of that entrance. THen I went and look around and saw fruits being sold, so I was thinking that maybe I could fool them as I want to buy somoene else bought it.. So as I looked what he was trying to do, it didn't work.. He was also rejected because he didn't have the visitor pass.. So I guess that didn't work..

Anyway, grandma looks well. Better than a few days before.. Thank you to those who prayed for her. Do continue to pray for her. But her CT Scan results is not good.. So do continue to pray for her.. Thank you.. She's able to speak more clearly now compared to the previous days as well as she can see more clearly. Anyway, I couldn't stop singing this song that kept me going on.. God Bless

Be Thou My Vision
=================
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

Another day has passed

It's another long day. Heard the good news that Granny blood pressure went down to normal, but it shot back up again in the afternoon and kept on going up.. She could still recognize all of us, but she couldn't get her eyes to opened and still very weak. The last I left her was that she was sleeping, but at least she's not complaining much pain anymore which is good.. Just continue to pray for her.........

Someone please wake me up from this nightmare

It has been a long day today. Granny is in the hospital due to stroke this morning.. The toughest thing for me to witness is looking at her suffering from pain and it wasn't a pretty good thing to look at. Current situation, Blood Pressure high, her whole Left side of her body is paralyze, she can't see and doc said that chances is low.. But I will not go down without a fight..... I will not go down...
