It's finally over..

Feeling sick at the moment. Anyway managed to finish up my sis assignment already.. All is good. Will sleep early tonite.. Then start over tomorrow.. Unfortuantely I caught the cold.. So now will hit the bed. Will blog again tomorrow.. have a nice day!

Sim & Sarah's Engagement Ceremony

Okie. Today during Cell Group we had Sim & Sarah's Engagement Ceremony.. those present were... I try to recall their name in order... Ps.Ang, Simon Wong & Connie, Sim, Sarah, Sarah's Mum, Sim & Sarah's friend, Hui Lih, Me, Deluxe, Ketam, Caca, Prismfire, Angela, Michaelin, Kevin. I think that's pretty much about it.. Ok.. So we started off by having the ceremony. It didn't really take long though. But I think it was cool, since we had to work our butt off becase of the deco. hahaha.. Oh ya. I think I'll start off back then when we began to plan for it.. I think it was after VBS practice on Sunday we went and pick up the song called "Only You" but changed it into Hokkien & Hakka version.. We had a blast at it.. Hahaha.. Here's the lyrics...

Ok.. So that was that, and then we took the Hymn Book MH344 I think and because most of us dunno how it sound.. So Ketam went and suggested we change it to another song entitled "When I Survey The Wonderous Cross" tune.. So it went well.. And so that was our first practice. .After that. On Thursday nite after prayer meeting, we went to Hui Lih's place to decorate the place.. I totally forgotten about my pump, because we needed to pump some baloons.. So went and used Elmund tayar pump.. But halfway it died.. Hahaha.. So ketam called James Hii up to borrow his pump, and also went and took from James Lee as well.. So when they got back, we were back in business.. Started to decorate everything. Well all went well, when the baloons started to pop one by one.. Hahaha.. Think it's too old.. But anyway, all is good :D

Then just now leh. we Started off with a little ice breaker. Sim was blindfolded and hand to hold everyone's hand to see if he can feel which one is Sarah's hand.. He managed to eleminate everyone except for Sarah of course.. But in the end, he also went and elminate her with the excuse saying the cili padi gang was at work.. After that the ceremony commence, and then after that we get to hear some sharing from a lot of veteran couples. Whereby the group found it very enlightening :) After that we began to present our Hymn, because Kevin wasn't around yet.. It was out of the ordinary whereby Prismfire and I were stomping our feet to get the beat while playing with the keys to give the extra effect. Oh well, it went well.. Unfortunately, at the end of the song my feet were killing me.. Why?? Because Ketam just had to repeat the first verse again.. Hahaha.. After that, we had makan.. All courtesy by Sim.. It was good :) Then it was 10.30 the older veteran needed to go back already.. Hahaha.. So left the couple with us.. And we sang our very own "Only You" version.. Prismfire had to paddle his boat all the way to see his princess Caca... It was more less like an MTV, and the rest of us were like singing behind the background. It was fun.. So after that we managed to get them to do it.. Hahaha.. Poor Sim, had to take out his glasses, couldn't see a thing.. And all of us were worried he'll paddled to the wrong girl later.. Hahaha... Pre Mooncake festival @ Carpenter Street

Deluxe and I went adventure into the wilderness of Carpenter street just now. Just to witness the "Lau Jiet" of the place. What we managed to see was a number of things.. We sort of went from Carpenter street to all the way to India street as well. But when we arrived at India street the cooking competition was over.. Oh well.. We sort of like jalan-jalan around that area looking for some food.. So what happened next was that, we went and witness dragon dance, lion dance, & drum presentation. And of course there was definately a lot of people. Will post the pictures up later :P After the show we went through carpenter street again to look for dinner.. Yeap. Lots of food there, more less like Kuchign fest. I think I'll post up pictures will tell more stories.. Hahahaha.. But anyway, what we had was 1 Kueh Tiaw, 1 Bee Hoon, 2 Hot Dog Cheese, 2 Cans of Cola, 1 Packet Ice Kacang & 5 dragon balls I think that's what you call them. Oh doesn't matter. :P Anyway, it was really pack and hard to move. Eventually took us about a whole hour from one side of the street to the other.. :P ANyway.. Here are the pictures from Reggata... I'm Back.............................

This is my 3rd attempt to try and blog today.. It's been happening again. My pc crashed when I was about to press the submit button.. And lo and behold, a nice long blog just went off. now I think I'll do a summart of everything.. Been trying to blog all this while, but eventually the server wouldn't allowed me. Each time I press the submit button, it always couldn't update.. So oh well. I got tired of it.. So I left it here for a while.. But anyway, interesting things happened for the past few days.. Hmmm. okay... Lemme try and recall...

First thing for the past few weeks was that I was trying to win some cash from Mix.Fm. So what I did was that I kept on calling and wanting to give the answer but it never got through. I was like, ok.. So I guess that's not the competition for me anyway.. So one morning after I got up, I listen to Mix.Fm and there was another competition on winning 2 tickets to see Stomp. So ok, what the heck.. I mean, I was like trying to see if I can get through or not (normally I don't). So okay, in the blurr state I was in I just pick up the phone and call them.. And lo and behold, I heard a voice on the other end of the line.. I couldn't believe I got through.. So okay.. This was how the conversation went....

DJ : Hello Mix.FM Ika here. What's your name and where you're calling from?
Me : .....Uhhhh.. Hello ? (Still in a very blur state)
DJ : Hi. Mix.FM Ika here, What's your name and where you calling from?
Me : ......Alex.....Kuching...
DJ : Hi Alex, can you sound more lively a bit or not. you're on national radio..
Me : Uhhh... Ok...

.... Then the DJ asked me to do what was required to do. Trying to imitate the sound of the noise. And so out of my blurness I went and imiatate it..

DJ : Wow. That was the closest. Congratulation you won..
Me : Seriously ?
DJ : Ya seriously. Congratulation Alex, you just won yourself two tickets to see Stomp and what is all the noise about.
Me : Eh. You don't play me leh. Like that also can ah? (Sounded very Pua Chu Kang alreadY)
DJ : Ya. Seriously you won. Unless you don't want the tickets, I can keep it for myself.
Me : Eh.. No kiddinglah. Nooooooo... I wan.. I wan...

*DJ laughed at me, and then got down my details and said will call me later...

And so that's how it go.. After I put down the phone and I listened to the station, I realized that I totally made a fool out of myself... Oh well.. There are dozen's of Alex here and none of them knew about it.. HAhahaha.. Okay... But it was all good.. Anyway, the thing is held in KL, so I decided to give it to my brother who is currently working there at the moment.. :)

Ok.. After that, there was this Reggata thingy going on.. Actually it's a boat race. Not easy man, when I saw them paddle. Some were just extremely very fast.. HAhaha. But it was cool I managed to witness it for only 1 round then I went off.. Was more interested in looking at the food selling by the road.. :P I managed to find Roti John.. But unfortuantely it didn't taste as good like the one in MIri. I'll upload the photos later :P

Oh yeah, and we just started on the VBS 2005 practice already.. Most of us had our lines memorized already.. So it's all good ^_^ Just that now trying to get into the characther.. Want to know more ?
