The Husband Store!

I know I haven't been really posting.. Being busy at the moment.. but will just keep this activated for a while :P GUys you've just got to read this..

The Husband Store!

A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City, where a
woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the
entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the
store ONLY ONCE !

There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the
shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch . . .. you may
choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a
floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the
building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband .

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids,

and are extremely good looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids,

are drop- dead good looking and help with the housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"

Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead
gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign
reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 4,363,012th to this floor. There are no men on
this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible
to please.

Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. Watch your step as you exit
the building, and have a nice day!

Please send this to all men for a good laugh and to all the women who
can handle the truth!

Energizer Vs. Duracell and the winner is.....

Duracell.. All these years, I've been a huge supporter of Energizer, thinking maybe because it has a nicer covering and all that.. But during my trip in Singapore, when I went to the 7-11 Shop, because worried that my rechargeable batteries would run out, I went and purchased Energizer batteries.. Because normally I would buy it because it is recommended for digital cameras.. But then the lady at the counter was saying that Duracell batteries were on promotion.. I was thinking, why not.. It's cheaper compared getting those energizer's batteries.. So what the heck, went and took duracell.. So after changing the batteries and using it for a few days.. I turned to Deluxe and told her that, I'm still using the Duracell batteries.. And I haven't changed the batteries yet.. She too was surprised and said that, it lasted longer compared to the latest Energizer batteries.. And normally if I were to use Energizer it would last at most 1 day, that is if I were to take the picture the whole time.. And when it's flat.. It's really flat.. unlike Duracell.. I've managed to stretch it for 5 days, and to my surprise that I was still able to take pictures with flash some more.. So today's blog will be dedicating to Duracell.. Bwhahaha..

Everything Instant

Church message this morning was good. The speaker today was Rev. Anthony Loke, a lecturer of a theological school.. He was speaking about the modern Israel, and what it's role today. How God's promises has been fulfilled, and the history of how Israel was born in a single day.. Then meet up with practically everyone due to the fact they didn't expect me to pop up today.. Hehehe. . All was good.. :)
WEnt shopping today. Looking at the items they have in the supermarket.. Everything was instant.. Mix water and cook.. Gone were the days of long hours of preparing herbs and spices just for a bowl of bakuteh.. And now. They have it all ready for you.. just dump in the pot and mix it with the chicken and there you go.. Bakuteh on the spot.. Well, pretty impress what you can do with a small packet of Adabi Fried Rice spice... And not too mention Rendang Paste.. Having a lot of things to cook now.. bwhaahha.. Oh well.. Hopefully will be able to cook something up mention from the above.. WIll do it prolly next week hehehe.

Finally settled down and back again

Ok.. Now back in Kuching, and finally settled down a bit.. Been ages since I last blog.. BUt all is good.. A brief summary on what happened for the past few weeks... OK.. Had a family dinner at Slippery Senorita during the 5th day of Chinese New Year.. Not too bad the place, but it still has a lot of room of improvement in terms of service.. Half the time was guessing what the waiter was trying to say, and always brought the wrong thing to the table.. -_-" Anyway.. After that, was try to finish up loose ends before heading to Singapore to meet up with Deluxe to attend a friend's wedding.. :)

Singapore was good as usual.. BUt I think I stayed there way too long.. I took Airasia for the first time, and had a very bad flight going to Johor depart from Miri.. I took the 4pm flight, and as we departed Miri, 20 mins after the flight had taken off.. The baby that was behind me started crying and screaming.. I believed that other passenger were disturbed because of the high pitch tone produced by the baby.. And the whole thing lasted for 1 hour, and as I had difficulty trying to sleep.. After 1 hour of screaming the parents went and finally hush the little one by feeding the baby.. Thinking that I would be able to finally get a short 30 mins nap before arriving, suddenly I heard Mariah Carey stared to sing... It was a guy who sat next to me was listening to his ipod and began to sing... Then finally gave up headed for the washroom to freshen up a little before we land.. ANyway, once landed head for the bus stop to reach the bus station to meet up with Deluxe and from there meet up with the rest of her Gang. Once we've all managed to go round the mall in Johor, we had dinner then headed to Singapore... And by the time we reached the apartment that was rented for all of us, it was bout close to 12am, and I quickly showered and slept.. End of Day 1..
Day 2 give my brother a call to catch up with them.. So Deluxe & with Fenny go their ways, I've followed my brother, cousin and Ah Huat to go jalan2.. We've walk to Orchard and finally ended up in Borders.. It was a huge bookstore, and I was pretty amazed with all the books they have. Heck, if I could have gotten my textbook from here rather to wait 3 weeks of shipping from Australia.. -_-" But anyway, wanted to take a picture but wasn't allowed to do so.. After that, went back for dinner and planned to go sentosa the next day with them again.. As night came, met up with Deluxe's friend and we go to Esplanade and took a few pictures there.. Unfortunately didn't bring my tripod, lots of nice scenary to take.. Oh well. Maybe next time.. After that we went back, and thus end of Day 2.
Day 3, Deluxe and myself went to meet up with Ah Huat and my cousin to go to Sentosa.. My brother did not make it because he wasn't feeling too well.. We took the cable car, and then started our adventure.. It was extremely tiring, and some more it rained halfway, so we had to make a few detour.. By the time we got back home it was like 6pm, and rested for like less than an hour then had to go out for dinner to meet up once again with the same group.. But this time, meeting up with my brother and my best bud Bong who has been working there for dinner.. After dinner we walk around before heading back to call it a day..
Day 4 in Singapore, was the big day for Lenny and Darius as we witness the holy matrimony of both of them at the church.. But before heading to the church, their car came to the rented apartment for a few of us to decorate them... Later we went to the bride's place to make up the rest of them who needed to be make up while I was going around taking pictures as well as video.. Then Kiti and I went to the church first.. Since no one was around, I took the chance of taking pictures around, and as for Kiti. He was busy taking pictures at the back while I ventured to the front and took a few close up pictures :P Then the ceremony began, and it was indeed a wonderful experience and the deco was nice.. ^_^ After that we had a short refreshment and followed them to witness their registration as well.. Once everything was over, Deluxe and I went to Bugis again to get Apple Strudle for my sister.. Then rushed back to Orchard for the dinner.. Once the dinner was over, time to head back and call it a day...
Day 5, we managed to met up with Lany.. And this time thinking of going a lot of places but ended up in Tiong Bahru where I finally able to complete my main mission... I went to Burger King and had my whooper.. :D Woo hoo I was happy. Hehehe... Then after resting and all that, we went to go round the mall just to have a look see before heading to church.. Today message was "How to be a wise person".. The sermon indeed was talking about the characteristic of being a wise person. Guess, as we live our lives here on earth, there are a lot things that we need to improve.. And the Ps was stressing that we should live our life accordingly and rather being fire starter.. We should be peacemakers.. After that we went for dinner with the others.. After dinner, Deluxe have a get together with her other friends, so I was kicked out of the group and head back to the apartment... Rested for 2 hours then went back to see if they're done already.. So by the time I caught up with them, they were about to leave.. So we headed back and say our goodbye to everyone there, thus ended day 5 of the singapore trip...
Day 6, got up about 5.30 and get ready to leave singapore.. We tried to flag down a cab at the main street was difficult so ended up went to Orchard side to get a cab.. We got on the bus and headed back to Senai Airport, Johor. Once there, we waited another 45 mins, and hop onto the plane back to Kuching.. And for the past few days been settling down, and finally able to come back here to blog.. COuld have blogged earlier, but wanted to give the CG a surprise when I showed up last nite. Hehehe.. Anyway.. All is well.. The link below is the pictures that was taken during the trip in Singapore.. Signing out now, cuz need to send my uncle to the airport... Until then, have a nice day...
