The Lord still loves Lundu

Went to Lundu yesterday. It was indeed a fruitful trip once again.. And this time, the bridge is completed.. Which mean it's time for me to go up there often :P Anyway.. So let me start how this trip was organized.. It all began when the week before, the youth were asking me if I wanted to join them to go to Lundu next Saturday.. I was like ok.. Why not.. Let's go.. But when they told me the time they had to depart was like 8 am.. I was like.. Ermmm. Ok.. If you don't see me there by 8.. I"ll go there on my own :D So it was set. Then Queen V asked me to lead worship up there.. I was like.. Ok.. Hmmm. Since it's going to be chinese, well.. Why not.. Take simple songs will do.. Ok. .That was that.. So after that, went and told Ketam saying that I'll be heading up to Lundu.. He said he'll confirm again with me.. So oklorr. Worst comes to worst, no one can go I'll join the youth then :P So on friday nite, Rev. Law came and did a bit of sharing on evangelism.. Then Ketam was saying he would only be able to leave at noon time.. Hmm.. So ok.. Put that aside I went and got help from Sim to help me translate a few songs into Chinese... Which then started to grab the attention of Prismfire and Caca.. Who turned out to be a real big help in choosing songs.. So, they too were sort of got involved with the Lundu trip. So ok.. After everything was over, the next day went off with Caca, Elmund & Ketam.. On the way there, since it was a long way.. We thought we wanted to have a sing-along session. But end up we began to practice for the afternoon worship.. . It was fun if I don't mind saying it.. Despite of all the wrong pronunciation once in a while, but end up got it good.. BWhahaha.. So I learn a few songs during that car ride.. Not to bad for a banana.. We arrived Lundu in exactly one hour, and we first head off for lunch.. After lunch contacted Queen V and told her we're at the church.. So while we were waiting we began to practice again on how do we do the ice breaker.. Then we sang the "very good believe in Jesus" song.. Hahaha.. Translate that to hokkien :P

Then the youth came as well and we sort of like run through with them so that at least they're able to blend in with the Lundu youth.. So when the praise and worship starts, we had a good time making people going around shaking hands as well as high five everyone else.. Then we sang songs like "Hallelujah, Praise Ye the Lord (Whereby Ketam and Prismfire lead the group into battle with each other), Jehovah Jireh, Sing hallelujah, & Thank you, thank you, Jesus" all in chinese. All in all, it was all good.. Then we played games that Elmund brought up in the retreat.. This time the chinese clan won the battle, and orang ulu was more gentle compared to the previous batch.. And once again the cowboy team lost.. So all is good.. After that the youth took over the games.. Once the game was over, caca shared with the children of Lundu about loving your neighbor. Then she closed with a prayer for everyone.. After that, we makan "eng tao peng" and junk food.. After the youth left cleaning the place and arranging the chairs, we waited for Queen V to send the other children home.. But 2 remained there playing the piano. So I went over and see how they were doing and thought them a little bit of technique that was once passed down to me in order to make them have more interest in playing the piano.. :) Anyway, we did a short jamming session, and they two little girls enjoyed themselves.. So all is good, and which make me want to go up there to help them out so that they'll be able to serve in church when they're ready :P After that, all of us went back and that was how the trip to Lundu went. And I believed that all of us who went up there didn't go back empty handed. Though the journey was long, but we were definitely joyful and glad that everything well despite our language problem.. Praise the Lord. Even though we were sort of limited with the language, but our willingness to serve the people there. God made use to what we have, and made it complete.. So it was a breakthrough especially for me.. Never thought that I'll be singing chinese songs during praise and worship.. And now I would like to thank everyone, in no particular order...

Thank you Sim, for being there to help translate and read the chinese words in the song book. Really appreciate it, if it wasn't for you.. All of us wouldn't be able to do praise & worship..

And also Iris, who also helped us translate a song, though we never used it. And the willingness to accept our call of distress at ungodly hour.. Thank you very much for the things you have done. :)

Prismfire, for driving us there as well as leading the praise and worship. really appreciate you bro.. You have done so much, and yet asked so little.. May God continue to bless you in everything that you do. And that you have blessed the little ones in Lundu with your charisma, joy as well as love.. Thank you so much for the support you gave in helping me through the session..

Caca, without you we wouldn't be able to have the ping yin as well as the slides used during the trip. I thank God that, you came during cell group and that you were there was not a coincidence but there for a purpose.. And that Prismfire & your past experience in a chinese youth really paid off. I do hope to see the both of you going up to Lundu again, and continue to make an impact to the youth there as well.. ^_^
Si Ketam, the encourager during the whole time. As well, as the guy whom I always made fun of "Intentionally".. Anyway, you're presence there really made a different though you almost pulled out.. But I'm glad that you're able to join us as well..

Chief, if it wasn't for your song book, we wouldn't be able to choose the songs that we sang that afternoon. And thank you for your support as well.. ^_^

To the bunch of youth that went up there.. I'm glad that all of you also learnt something that you can never take things for granted in life.. When you visited homes, and you noticed how they lived.. I do hope that all of you will remember this picture for life.. And never compare yourself with those who are living better than you, but rather than those who are less fortunate.. So I do hope you guys will be able to go up there and rock the place.. ^_^

And of course not to forget.. The one who had been keeping me sane and supporting me in every ministry that I venture in to. My precious Deluxe, thank you for your love and support throughout all these time.. Even though you weren't with me there physically, but I know you were back there supporting me in your prayers.. ^_^ If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be where I am right now. And I thank God that He put you in my life. And not forgetting the advices you gave me, really did help me and assured me that everything will be all right.. Thank you for all you've done for me.

And to others as well, who prayed for the group that went up to Lundu. I thank you that, we are safe through out the whole journey.. I do hope that the unity and cares that you guys have shown really made a difference. Thank you...

Finally, to the person that gave us this heart to serve Lundu. The person who is always there to help us when we needed it. The person who made sure that everything will go through smoothly.. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name.. Thank you very much for giving us this opportunity to experience something which we thought that we could never experienced. Thank you so much for allowing us to be used by you. And the joy you gave each and everyone of us.. If it wasn't for you, all this wouldn't be successful. Thank you once again...
